Nicole Anderson, PhD

Licensed Specialist in School Psychology

Dr. Nicole Anderson is a licensed psychologist and a licensed specialist in school psychology. She has extensive training and expertise in evaluation, diagnosis, child development, and neurodiveristy. She is passionate about helping families and children develop strategies to help them thrive. 

Dr. Nicole works with families and children ranging in ages from preschool through college. She conducts screenings and evaluations for autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, developmental disabilities, giftedness, as well as social, emotional, and behavioral disorders. The results from testing help us to learn about each individual’s unique strengths and needs.  Additionally, information from testing promotes academic success and develops executive functioning and emotional-behavioral regulation skills. 

She also consults with parents to help families develop a treatment plan, access supports at school, and  navigate Section 504 and special education services at school. Families also develop coping strategies and systems to support their child’s needs at home.

Dr. Nicole Anderson earned her doctorate in School Psychology from Texas A&M University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Denison University.

She has 15 years of experience working with children and families in school districts and community settings.

Dr. Nicole is a member of professional organizations including American Psychological Association, National Association of School Psychology, and Houston Psychological Association.

When away from the office, Dr. Nicole enjoys spending time with her two daughters, husband, golden-doodle, and friends. Dr. Nicole also enjoys art, yoga and Pilates, traveling, and being outdoors.
